Pesticides

Pesticides is a collective term for chemical pesticides. They are sprayed as solutions or atomized as powders. Depending on the area of application, a distinction is made between herbicides, they act against weeds (e.g. couch grass), fungicides, they act against fungi (e.g. powdery mildew), insecticides, they act against insects, and acaricides, they act against mites (e.g. spider mites in greenhouses).
