Pheromones

Pheromones, ancient Greek: pherein to transmit, convey, excite and hormone to move, are scents that serve the subconscious, biochemical communication between living beings of a species. The best-known pheromones are the sexual scents, which in mammals indicate the fertile period, but are also released during sexual arousal.
