This year, two young scientists, Olianiyi Olarewaju and Sitram Aryal, have written their master theses in the field of breeding improvement of the nematode Heterorhabditis Bacteriophora at our company. Now a doctoral candidate position was offered to both.
Olianiyi is from Nigeria and studied at the Christian-Albrecht-University of Kiel AgriGenoMik. This course is concerned with the application of results from genome research (genome = genetic material) in agriculture with the aim of improving plant production and animal breeding.
He just informed us, that he has got a PhD position at “Medizinische Hochschule Hannover” in Germany and will start in October.
Sitram is from Nepal and graduated from the University of Ghent with a master's degree in "International Master of Science in Agro- and Environmental Nematology".
Sitram has already traveled to Australia, where he received an offer for a PhD position at the "Hawkesbury Institute for the Environment" at Western Sydney University.
