The following video presents very interesting pictures of nematodes, their microworld and their fight against larvae of codling moths. Please follow Professor Ralf-Udo Ehlers and watch the application of biocontrol nematodes in a professional orchard.
The product nemapom® contains nematodes of the kind Steinernema feltiae. Autumn and spring treatments can reduce overwintering larvae by 50-80 %.
nemapom® can be used against codling moth (Cydia pomonella), red plum maggot, (Grapholita funebrana), oriental fruit moth ( Grapholita molesta), apple sawfly (Hoplocampa testudinea), pear sawfly (Hoplocampa brevis), plum sawfly (Hoplocampa flava) and apple clearwing moth (Synanthedon myopaeformis).
