Sustainable agriculture is only possible in combination with consumption - but then there are promising opportunities. Organic agriculture can play a central role here.
This is confirmed by a new study by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture FiBL. The study has just been published in the renowned journal Nature Communications.
In the following video, FiBL researcher Adrian Müller presents a food systems model that addresses agronomic characteristics of organic agriculture to analyse the role that organic agriculture could play in sustainable food systems.
