Ampelomyces quisqualis
Ampelomyces quisqualis is a parasitic fungus that attacks the mycelium of powdery mildew fungi, penetrates the mildew mycelium and feeds on the plant-parasitic fungus.
It can be used in biological plant protection. After application, spore germination occurs within 2 hours. The mycelium of powdery mildew is penetrated within 24 hours and the host is killed within the following 3–5 days.
