APPLICATION OF NEMAFLOR® C
nemaflor® C features Steinernema carpocapsae nematodes a gel formulation which avoids optical powder residues on flowers, leaves and fruits after spraying.
nemaflor® C should be applied weekly at 125,000 - 250,000 nematodes per m2.
Apply as a spray or drench or through irrigation systems. If it is sprayed, adjust spray-volume until run-off and spray in the evening at high relative humidity to avoid rapid desiccation on the leaves.
Buds, flowers and leaves should stay moist for at least 3 hours after application. nemaflor® C works best at substrate temperatures between 10-28°C.
nemaflor® C can easily be applied via the irrigations system
MODE OF ACTION
The nematodes actively search for the pest insects and invade through natural openings into the body cavity, where they release their symbiotic bacteria. The bacteria multiply and kill the insect within 1-2 days. The nematodes feed on the bacteria and propagate. About 1,000 nematodes of the next generation emerge two weeks after application from one host insect. nemaflor® C is safe for beneficial insects, plants and humans.
nemaflor® C is compatible with most chemical plant protection compounds, fertilizers and other beneficial insects.
